Investigator's Log
Location: Forest Hill Cemetery
Date: October 3, 2005
Weather: 53 F, Clear, Calm

Investigators: Brad S. & Chris

Synopsis:
Brad and Chris head out for the first official investigation
that CVPI undertakes.  This cemetery has long held a
mystery for both of our investigators.  They carry minimal
equipment (flashlight, EMF meter, temperature meter,
camera, and audio recorder w/external microphone) and a
natural curiosity into the graveyard.

Our investigators find themselves assaulted right away by
a wandering cold spot that was 12 degrees colder than the
surrounding air temperature.  Chris fired up the audio
recorder to attempt communication with the spirit(s).  Brad
shot multiple photos of the surrounding area.  They
followed the cold spot across the site to the south end of
the cemetary, at which point they lost track of it.

It was at this point the decided to check out the crypts built
into the hillside.  These crypts had drawn Brad & Chris to
them since they were teenagers almost 20 years ago.  As
they approached, they swear they see a shadow following
them at the top of the hill.    Photos with the digital camera
prove inconclusive.

Once at the crypts, the cold spot returns.  Then the sound
of metal on concrete scaping comes out of the crypt.  With
the doors vandalized, it is vaguely possible to look inside,
but nothing out of the usual is seen.  Another russling from
inside the vault sends our heroes packing back to the
vehicle, parked in front of the chapel.

At the chapel, they both get the feeling they are being
watched.  Chris clicks on the audio recorder for one last try
at contact.  He asks for a sign of the spirit's presence.  At
that moment, the flag, which had been laying flat on the
pole, unfurrows and flaps in the non-existant wind.  None
of the surrounding trees move at all.  It was time to go.

Reviewing all photos produce no interesting evidence, and
our audio was completely ruined by a BAD microphone.
These experiences begs for a return to the site for further
investigation.
