| Investigator's Log Location: Cemetery, Caryville, WI Date: April 2006 Weather: Overcast, Windy, Dusk Investigators: Shelly, Chris, & Brittni Synopsis: One of CVPI's several trips to the Graveyard. You get the feeling as if you shouldn't be there. As if spirits are pushing you away, to get back in your car and never return. We aren't having any of it. First thing you realize is that you are surrounded by farm land, and lots of it. People claim to hear children playing all around them in the Cemetery. Well, in this investigator's experience, you can hear voices from a mile away if it is quiet enough. Out there, it is mighty quiet. If children were laughing and playing at a nearby farm house, you would hear it. Just barely, like "ghost children" playing in the yard. Is that the explanation? Maybe. Our audio recorded no extraneous voices or laughter during this trip. Nor did we capture any unusual video. Our photos had some unusual blurring, but the lighting was off because of the cloud cover and may have messed with the auto-focus of the camera that evening. Other subsequent trips to this "Playground for the Dead" yielded similar non-results. |
